Become invincible this year

At the end of last year I dropped in a reminder to list your wins from 2024. If you haven’t yet done that I highly recommend it as a starting place to get clarity about this year.

For me, I ran workshops in London, Hanoi, Sydney and Melbourne.

I was a part of Head On Photo festival, both as the curator of an exhibition and a speaker and panelist.

I watched my clients win exceptional awards for work I’d helped them make, get approached and signed by reputable reps and production companies, and win some really juicy global advertising briefs.

One of my wins was to realise that over the last 12 years that I’ve been a photo mentor, I’ve written over 250 blog posts which amounts to a lot of ideas and advice I’ve shared over the years.

So to help get your year off to a good start whilst I get some R&R, I dug out a few of these posts. Some are oldies but goldies, and they’re still super relevant today.

In a few of those posts I recommended a webinar I recorded in January a few years back, ‘Define your direction’ which is a great way to get some clarity at the beginning of the year or so. You can jump straight to that here.

You’ve survived this far, so let’s make 2025 the year you harness all your learnings to become invincible, whilst doing what you love- this crazy world of image making.
