The three most important questions

There are 3 questions I ask photographers when I first meet them.

1. What would your week look like if you were financially free and never had to work again?
2. Would photography be a part of it?
3. Describe your dream assignment. No limitations.

The idea is you think through what you want your working life to look like. (Why let it-shall-not-be-named get in the way)

Once you’ve described it, try changing it into the past/ present tense.

I am an international photographer shooting advertising assignments on location for global ad agencies.

I have shot for (describe dream assignment).

I am repped by (add your dream photo rep).

Stick it on your fridge.

Read it every single day.
