Top folio shots 2014: June

We are currently dealing with horrible winter storms here in NZ. At our home in Titirangi we’ve had numerous power cuts, and some of our windows and doors are boarded up. Oh, and the family dog is sick. There is more but I won’t bore you. Suffice to say it might explain my slightly jaded (and possibly green-eyed) post last month about the lucky folk celebrating at the Cannes Lions.

What has been helping get me through all this winter mayhem has been warm cosy cafes (with power) and the delicious images that have poured forth in the numerous folio edits with which I have been entrusted. In June I edited work by no less than 12 photographers from around Australasia. And July is shaping up to be similar. So I decided to throw a curve ball this time and share a shot from every June edit. As usual, some of these shots did not, or will not, make the final folio. It doesn’t mean they aren’t good. For my Southern Hemisphere followers, you might appreciate the opportunity to ignore the cold weather outside, get the fire going and look at some nice shots with a glass of red.
