A few weeks ago I wrote about the importance of sharing your work right from conceptual stage. (You can read that here)
It’s a no-brainer that the more people that see your work, the more visible you become.
But sometimes no matter how much you share, the results can be pathetic.
No replies.
No jobs.
Crickets.
This could come down to what you’re sharing.
But it can also have a lot to do with the next steps they take.
Let’s say they see your work on social media.
If they’re seriously considering you they’ll head to your website. (So long as you provide the link of course.)
And if that doesn’t deliver what they’re expecting, it’s going to be confusing and they’ll likely leave, and move onto the next photographer.
Photographers are always asking me about sharing their work, but they have often missed some crucial steps.
Steps that ensure their work is consistent across all their platforms.
I covered all these in my free webinar earlier this week.
If sharing isn’t working for you, it might be time to look at how your online presence appears from the outside.
Is it consistently echoing the same feeling?
Or is everything fighting?
If you need help with getting results from sharing your work, you can organise a call with me here for the next week only. I’ll help you start the process of understanding your brand and how you can harness that to consistently get paid to shoot what you love.
